Traceability

Our grain is traceable to the field in which it was grown. Look on your Early Morning Harvest grain package and find the 13-digit lot traceability number.

Early Morning Harvest tracing number tell you which field your grain was grown.

The number will tell you the following:

  1. Certified organic

  2. Specifies the grain type

  3. Day/Month/Year the grain was milled

  4. Internal Tracker

To help promote sustainability, soil health, erosion control, and conservation, the crops (rye, wheat, corn, buckwheat, soybeans) are rotated annually upon harvest. Meticulous crop records and storage logs are needed to maintain certifications and traceability.

We pride ourselves in knowing when and from which field your grain was harvested. The lot number on your bag of flour, represented by the example above, lends to the traceability needed for our records.
